Mercenary

If you are learning martial arts to fight – and you wish to fight other human beings – then why not join the military or become a mercenary. If these martial arts truly were made for war and for combat in life-or-death scenarios, why not test them out in the best manner that you can?

And being a mercenary allows you to go into war-prone regions with little liability for your actions. You’ll be able to actually see how those wrist locks, arm locks break or dislocate the body in real-time. In addition to this, you can test out your martial arts and see if the things that you have been taught or are training are effective or not!

This post is intended to mock those that indulge in martial arts for “fighting.” Or for those who seek martial arts as a remedy for “self-defense.” I know not what any of these things mean. I only know that I cultivate myself by engaging in such training. I do not know if I will be able to take a single lazy and weak guy down let alone a dozen highly trained individuals. For me, it doesn’t register because I don’t train for those scenarios. I could succeed. I could fail. I know not the result. And either way, it does not assist me. Beating people up may make you more miserable than simply getting ganged up on.
