This is the Wing Chun Club Kung Fu located in Usmanpura, Ahmedabad. I follow the CST or Chu Shong Tin style of WC. Master Chu Shong Tin – or CST – was Yip Man’s (Ip Man) direct student. He achieved such a high level of internal power through the first form that he was dubbed the “King of Siu Nim Tao” by Ip Man himself. This is one of the best types of Wing Chun styles and types of Kung Fu out there for students interested in internal martial arts. Check the “contact” page – it will surely be in a location that is near you!
I learn from Sifu Eddie Chan who was a direct student of Master Chu Shong Tin. This is the Yip Man lineage.
The three main points of CST WC that *I* focus on, are:
1) building the internal structure; relaxing the muscles and focusing on the skeletal structure to use one’s body mass to generate power. The internal structure requires point #2 – the validity and consistency of using intention.
2) using intention; generating and directing power and energy via the mind. Intention is characterized as what you wish to do. But a secret of intention is that it must be concentrated and applied consistently. Imagine flipping a light switch on. The current must travel at all times in order for you to utilize the light.
3) conceptual training; use concepts to hone techniques, as opposed to drilling individual movements. Individual movements create a log, a catalog of what to do in specific instances. It is not something that can be regarded practically.
If you are interested, you can contact me for a single month of training.
