Ideal Training Routine

A couple of weeks ago, I asked both Sifus what an ideal training routine would be?

Here are their responses:

Sifu Eddie Chan

I think an ideal training routine is one that suits you, and you should know better than others.

As a sharing, I used to “apply” the wing chun  way in my everyday life activities, like opening/closing doors/windows. I particularly enjoyed buying lots of groceries and stuff in supermarkets where I had to manage many bags of considerable weights. They were hanged on my shoulders and  forearms, some were carried by palms; yet I had to move around with all the weights together, with ease, and still could open doors, pass doorways, press lift buttons…… as normal. This has helped me test and develop the internal linked structure through application.

Perhaps you can explore your everyday life wing chun way too, apart from formal training!

Sifu Horace Chu:

Never think practice a lot SNT, just keep practicing.

You can focus on spinning the body center of Chum Kiu, just keep spin the body center many amny times.

Still need to keep Chi Sau without any muscular force also.

Regards,
Horace
